Updated Nexus 6 Release Date and Price

Now that Google’s Nexus 6 smartphone has been released worldwide, we have also seen that many previously mentioned backorders have now been filled. The Motorola manufactured Nexus 6 is rivaling that of many of the largest Android smartphones including the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and is currently drawing comparisons to the ios iPhone 6 Plus.

Back when the Nexus 6 initially launched in many countries worldwide including the UK, consumers seen huge delays in the initial launch. Initially told to be at least 3 weeks in most markets, we are now seeing that the backorders have been filled. Even here in the United States, the US Nexus 6 release date was delayed by nearly a month.

The Nexus 6 specs consists of a much larger 5.9” screen display that is similar in size to the Note 4 and newest Phablet, iPhone 6 Plus. Other specs include a 13 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 5.9” display with a 1440 x 2560 screen resolution, and 3 GB RAM. The Nexus 6 is also the first Motorola smartphone to feature the new Android 5.0 operating system pre-installed.

The price is one of the brightest aspects as it’s much cheaper than other premium smartphone releases. On the official Motorola website, you can purchase the Nexus 6 for as little as $649 for the 32 GB version. The 64 GB version is slightly higher, but even at $699 it’s still much cheaper than both the Galaxy Note 4 and iPhone 6 Plus.
