If the US and UK release date for the Nokia N1 tablet is half as successful as the China release, then Nokia is in for a real surprise. During the many N1 tablet flash sales in China sold out within minutes as the overall sales lasted for a total of four minutes. The first sale lasted for just four minutes and a total of 20,000 Nokia tablets were sold.
Hot off the huge success of the China Nokia N1 tablet release, we’re finally hearing more information on the US and UK release. Based on the new rumors, we are hearing that the both the UK and US Nokia N1 tablet release date should be by the third week in March. This seems pretty realistic, and is best suited for consumers who are looking to get one on launch day due to the simple laws of supply and demand.
With the new Nokia N1 tablet selling out in each of the two reported flash sales in China, there are still numerous consumers in China awaiting backorders. As Nokia looks to take care of the backorders first, this would likely limit any launch day supply for both UK and US consumers.
It’s easy to see why the Nokia N1 Android tablet is so highly regarded, especially considering the premium specs. The N1 tablet sports an Intel Atom 2.3 GHZ processor, 7.9” and 9” screen with a resolution of 2048 x 1536, 53oo mAh battery, and an 8 MP rear and 5 MP front-facing camera. The N1 tablet will also feature the new Android 5.0 operating system, and the US and UK release may just have the latest Android 5.0.1 pre-installed.
Stay tuned for more information on both the UK and US Nokia N1 tablet release date as we’ll bring you all the confirmations as soon as we get them. For now, be sure to check out the full review.
