It’s seems like it’s been a long time coming, but after the highly launch in China the Taiwan Nokia N1 tablet release is finally here. It’s been selling like hotcakes in China, and now the highly anticipated launch in the neighboring country seems to be well worth the wait, at least according to the consumers in Taiwan.
The Nokia N1 is one of the most anticipated tablets so far this year and when looking at all that’s packed into the new premium Nokia tablet. Featuring a 7.9” LCD display with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 and is well protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood lies an Intel Atom 64-bit Intel chipset 2.3GHz quad-core processor.
Other specs include an 8MP rear and 5MP front camera, along with 32GB of internal memory. 2GB RAM along with plenty of battery power with a 5300 mAh battery. Consumers will not like the idea of a premium tablet without expandable memory, which is where the N1’s biggest deficit lies. On the other hand, Lollipop is pre-installed, so there will be no worrying about updating the operating system anytime soon.
The launch in Taiwan comes with a modest price of only $270 USD. When comparing the Nokia N1 tablet price with other similar tablets, the N1 is slightly cheaper. We’re still awaiting something official from Nokia on where and when the tablet will be launched in other markets, despite constant rumors on a UK and US launch later this summer.
