The discussion on Sony’s next installment smartphone has really taken off in recent days, and it has everything to do with the latest rumors that we have been hearing. Many people have been asking us about the idea of three different versions of the upcoming release, and reality behind the Xperia Z4 rumors.
We first heard about the three different Sony Xperia Z4 versions when the latest info surfaced more on the release date, and the idea of a smaller and larger version really does make sense. As Sony looks to slim down their release dates from two per year to one, concentrating on a truly premium concept will be the over-riding factor.
It is expected we will see an Xperia Z4 Compact, Xperia Z4, and an Xperia Z4 Ultra, and all three are expected to be released at the same time. Based on speculation, we are also expecting three different price points that coincide with the sizes. The price of the Compact will be around $100 less than the standard version and the Ultra will be $100 more.
According to the most recent Sony Xperia Z4 rumors, we are expecting the US price of the standard version to be around $900. If the above remains to be true, than the Xperia Z4 Compact price will be around $800 in the US, and $1000 for the Ultra.
While some may say that the price seems to be a bit high, but when looking at the new specs it’s easy to figure out why. Leaked Xperia Z4 rumors depicts a Qualcomm 810 octa-core processor at 2.9 ghz, 5 GB of RAM, 4K display, a 3800 mAh battery, and a 21-23 MP front camera. It will also come preloaded with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop Operating System which is loaded with many new features.
