Samsung just announced a new mid-range Android tablet that boasts some good mid-range specs and features and will launch in Taiwan in a matter of weeks. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E was leaked weeks ago, and it seems like the early speculation was right on. The price is comparable considering what comes standard and as will launch a Wi-Fi and 3G model in the coming months.
The Galaxy Tab E tablet model SM-T560 (Wi-Fi) will launch in Taiwan, and was unveiled just today while the model SM-T561 (3G) model is expected to be unveiled very soon. It’s not something that will actually blow you away including a 9.6” TFT display, but is expected to appeal to those looking for a quality budget friendly tablet.

As of this time, the Wi-Fi only model has been made official in Taiwan with the 3G model expected to be made official very soon. The Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab E will sell for $225 and the 3G model is expected to sell for $$250 – 275, although it’s yet to be confirmed.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E release date in Taiwan will be by the end of July, with a launch expected in many other markets expected to be made official this summer.
