The rumor of Samsung refreshing its Galaxy line-up in this year has become true, as the company introduced the new Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ at its big press conference in New York on August 13.
The new Samsung S6 Edge+ has been equipped with a 5.7-inch display, which is a significant increase in size from the 5.1-inch screen of the predecessor. More specifically, the screen size is larger than the upcoming iPhone 6S Plus. It makes the new Samsung Galaxy phone a direct threat to Apple’s next generation smartphone. The screen has been equipped with the Super AMOLED technology, which helps the device to produce a stunning view. The dual edge screen has provided the device a unique identity.
Moreover, the device also features the faster 64-bit, octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, through which you can perform different functions at an incredibly fast pace. The powerful Mali-T760MP8 enables you to play all the latest high-end game in the new Samsung Galaxy phone. The device has also been equipped with 4GB of RAM, which will make it free from lagging issues.
The new Samsung Galaxy phone contains a 16-MP primary camera, which features a number of amazing options, including optical image stabilization and phase detection autofocus for helping you to capture high-quality photos. You can also record slow motion and 4K videos. The performance of the 5-MP primary camera in taking photos and recording videos is also amazing.
You can charge the new Samsung Galaxy phone in various methods, including fast wireless charging technology, Qi wireless charging system, fast charging technology and powermat wireless charging system. Moreover, the powerful 3000 mAh battery ensures the smooth operation of the device all day long.
Its counterpart, Galaxy Note 5, features almost the same things. However, there are only four differences. The new Samsung Galaxy phone contains its trademark stylus, called S-Pen, which is absent in Galaxy S6+ Edge. The other two differences are associated with the dimension and weight.
The Galaxy Note 5 is available in black sapphire, white pearl and gold platinum colors. The Galaxy S6 Edge+ also features the same colors, in addition to green emerald. Both the devices run through Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Both of the devices are expected to be released in the smartphone market in the next month.
