Those in Poland noted the 5.0 rollout on Samsung Galaxy A smartphones, and we’re hearing users in other parts of the world saying the same. The current rollout will take some time before it reaches all markets and is actually pushed out as cell carriers have to make their own specific tweaks to make sure the update works with their device.
Android 5.0 was originally released during Q4 of last year, and there’s still numerous handsets to receive the original update. Some carriers and manufacturers have elected to forego 5.0 all-together in-place of 5.1 due to many glitches and problems that are resolved in the second update.
So far, no problems have been reported with the Samsung Galaxy A3 Android 5.0 update or for the A5 or A7 as users are reporting it’s working as stated. You can check manually to see if the update is available by going to your phones Settings > System Updates > Check for New System Update.
