There have been a lot of rumors on what Nexus is intending in 2015, and the latest suggest not one, but two smartphones will launch this year. We’ve been reporting that both Huawei and LG are rumored to be partnering with Google on the next Nexus handset, and until now, we believed it would be just one.
Now it seems that both Huawei and LG will be launching their own Nexus smartphones 2015 that aren’t believed to be released to the public until Q4. The Huawei-Nexus smartphone is believe to be 5.7 inches while the LG-Nexus smartphone is believed to be smaller at 5.2 inches.
Both handsets are expected to be featured on the new Android 6.0, Android M, or whatever the final name for this year’s Android operating system ends up. It wouldn’t surprise us to see the new Nexus smartphones 2015 to be the first to be featured on the new OS which is something that Google is known to do.
This makes way for Google who’s currently discounted the Nexus 6 to help make way for the new later this year. You can now purchase the 32GB Nexus 6 for $499 and the 64GB Nexus 6 for $549. The new price is $150 off each handset and is a great bargain for one of the most popular smartphones still available.
