As many of the premiere smartphone manufacturers look for new ways to bring in consumers, LG looks to do what many others are already doing. New LG G4 rumors looks to bring with it three different size versions to appeal to a wider range of consumers. The three releases are expected to be called the LG G4 Compact, standard LG G4, and the LG G4 Ultra.
All three versions are expected to carry differing aspects which will primarily be the overall size. All three are expected to carry similar specs including a 2K display, Sapphire screen, 20.7 MP rear camera, and 4 GB of RAM. We have been hearing conflicting LG G4 rumors on either a quad-core or octa-core processor, although the Snapdragon Qualcomm 808 quad-core processor is more likely.
Rumors on the LG G4 Compact look as though it’s intended to appeal to those looking for a budget friendly smartphone with premium specs. The G4 Compact shows resemblances of the iPhone C model that boasts a plastic exterior design, but with premium iPhone specs on the interior. The G4 is rumored to come in at 5 inches, which will be significantly smaller than the standard model of 5.2 – 5.5 inches. Also, we’ve been hearing more LG G4 rumors of a 4K screen with a screen resolution of up to 3840 x 2160.
The LG G4 Ultra is what was really hoping to see as it’s rumored to be a larger version, and is expected to be comparable with the HTC One M9 Prime and the Galaxy Note 5. The Ultra is believed to be 5.7 – 5.8” and will be LG’s answer to the Phablet.
A larger screen and new LG G4 rumors suggest that it will feature a new Stylus. The patent has already been filed by LG, and it’s unclear if all three versions will feature the new stylus functionality, or if it will only be featured in the LG G4 Ultra.
Stay tuned for the latest updates on the LG G4 rumors as we get ready for the presumed March release date.
