What the New Android 5.0 Lollipop Operating System Will do for You

Most of you, or at least some of you have already been privy to the features of the new Android 5.0 Lollipop Operating System. The initial release debuted on many Nexus devices starting in November, and while the new operating system had numerous bright spots, it had many more glitches. Many of the glitches and bugs have since been worked out with the release of the follow-up Android 5.0.1.

The latest update was first featured on Google Nexus devices and fixed numerous problems. Some of the glitches fixed pertained to video playback, factory reset, and other problems that have been noted with the initial Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system release. The latest update called Android 5.0.2 has just been release, and as of this time minimal is known on the new OS update.

Google has also pushed the new updates out to the open market which means manufacturers can start integrating the new Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system into future plans. All new and upcoming Android devices will start having the new OS pre-installed, and many of the future updates will also be in place. This is good news for consumers as the initial Android 5.0 release frustrated many consumers since day one.

The new Android 5.0 Lollipop Operating System features improve on many aspects of smartphones and Android supported tablets. Improving on battery efficiency, graphics, control, security, social, faster, and an overall better user experience is what users can expect with the new operating system.

Many cell manufacturers have already been rolling out the new Android 5.0 operating system, but recent rumors suggest that many will be waiting for updated Android 5.0.1. Samsung is one we believe will be skipping the initial release and going right to the 5.0.1. Samsung Galaxy S5 and Note 4 owners are expected to see the release over the next couple of weeks, with the future releases such as the S6 and Note 5 having them preinstalled.
