The annual CES event has become a huge event for tech enthusiasts as it has become one of the year’s hottest tech events. The January event has become the center stage for many of the year’s hottest smartphones, tablets, and other tech products and CES 2015 will be another one. Some of the year’s best are expected to take center stage including two of the most anticipated 2015 smartphones.
The LG G Flex 2 and Xiaomi Mi5 are both expected to debut at the January 2015 CES event as the time for speculation is almost over. The follow-up to two of the best-selling 2014 smartphones look to make a return and show off their many enhancements. The concepts of both the LG G Flex 2 and Xiaomi Mi4 were amazing to say the least, and the next release looks to be even better.
One of the biggest surprise showings of all the 2014 smartphones was the Xiaomi Mi4. The Chinese manufactured phone has become the third best-selling smartphone of 2014, and looking at the limited market release makes it even more amazing. The Mi4 was not seen in some of the largest markets worldwide including the US and UK.
Xiaomi Mi5 – Top 2015 Smartphones
The Xiaomi Mi5 smartphone is looking to come with an impressive line of specs including a 5.7” HD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560. There are also many 2015 smartphone rumors that the Mi5 will be one of the first to have an octa-core processor. While pure speculation at this time, the Mi5 could boast the Snapdragon Qualcomm 810 processor that we have been hearing about. A 20 MP rear camera and 3 GB of RAM round out the Xiaomi Mi5 specs that have been rumored.
One of the best features of the Chinese Xiaomi Mi5 smartphones is the premium marketed specs, but at a fraction of the cost. The budget friendly pricing has helped make the Mi5 one of the most anticipated 2015 smartphones, and one that we can’t wait to see.
LG G Flex 2 – Top 2015 Smartphones
The follow-up to the best-selling LG G Flex, the second release looks to be even more unique. The LG G Flex 2 rumors shows us many concept changes including a full bendable display up to 90 degrees. The curved, bendable concept looks to return in the concept one of the most unique 2015 smartphones.
Rumors on the enhancements to the original Flex center on the full bendable design, and not on a foldable concept which is now being speculated. Aside from this, the self-healing back will return as well, but will be even better. The time that it takes to heal blemishes and scratches is expected to be less, and the size of the blemishes of what can be healed is expected to be more.
Sporting a smaller 5.7 – 5.8” full HD screen will probably the biggest surprise. As the original Flex boasted a huge 6” display the LG G Flex 2 screen is expected to be slightly smaller. This will improve on one of the most dismal specs of the original Flex as it lacked a true HD display seen in most 2014 flagships.
Besides the smaller, full HD screen, rumors on the LG G Flex 2 include an Ultra HD 4K 13 MP rear camera, 3 MP front camera, quad-core 2.5 ghz processor, a 3500 mAh battery, and 3 GB RAM round out the specifications rumored.
Stay tuned for more information out of the annual CES event in Las Vegas as we are patiently awaiting the confirmations on two of what most are saying will be the best 2015 smartphones.
