Consumer interest for the amazingly cheap Meizu M2 Note is clearly understated as reservations for the upcoming release in China just hit the 10 million mark. Reservations opened up about a week ago directly through Meizu online in China and is the best way for Chinese consumers to pick one up on the release date in China which looks to be June 12th.
While it doesn’t guarantee those who reserve a handset on day one, it does give them the best chance taking into account launch day shipments. The M2 Note is expected to ship in two different versions including a 16GB model for $130 (806 Yuan) and a 32GB model for $160 (992 Yuan).
This is pennies considering all that’s packed into the Meizu M2 Note including a 5.5” full HD display, MediaTek 1.3GHz octa-core processor, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 3100 battery, and 2GB RAM. Meizu will be offering their own touch to Lollipop customized with Flyme UI which is said to provide just a bit more.
The Meizu M2 Note is expected to be a China only release, although many online retailers will be exporting the handset, but you can expect to pay a bit more than $130/160 to get your hands on one.
