LG G4 to Debut the New 4K Sapphire Screen with 3840 x 2160 Resolution

Things are getting ready to get almost unreal, and it all starts with what we’re hearing on the new changes in store for us with the LG G4. LG is looking to establish themselves as the premiere smartphone manufacturer, and hot off the heels of the success of the current LG G3 is the way to do it.

LG G4 Screen Display

With the technology in place for 4K screen smartphone displays it looks as though the fourth release in the G series will be the first LG smartphone to do so. A Sapphire screen is also being rumored as the crystal clear screen will provide some of the best visuals of any smartphone. The iPhone 6 screen display is probably the best on the market right now, and a 4K Sapphire screen may be even better.

If true, the LG G4 4K screen display will sport a screen resolution that is four times that of full-HD. The new display will be a perfect fit with the other LG G4 specs rumored including a fingerprint scanner, 20.7 rear-facing camera, 5 MP rear camera, and a 2.9 ghz octa-core processor. The new Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system will come preinstalled, with all of the latest updates.

We knew that LG was looking to significantly improve the specs of the upcoming release as they have already stated their intentions on concentrating on their flagship devices. This comes just in time as the many rumors surrounding the upcoming top Android smartphones in 2015 is just starting to get interesting.

The LG G4 is expected to compete with other premium releases in the coming year including the Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 5, Xperia Z4, and the HTC One M9. Hopefully, the current rumors on the release date will hold-up as we are hearing information on the expected launch for April 2015. With an off-contract price of under $900, the LG G4 price will be comparable with other 2015 Android smartphone releases.
