While the release of the second edition of the most unique Android smartphone is just around the corner, rumors are starting to materialize about a new foldable LG design. We have been hearing the latest LG rumors for some time, but until now we have been unsure if when we would see the first premium Android foldable smartphone. While we were hoping to see it in the LG G Flex 2, the reality is the foldable design will not be seen until 2016 with the release of the LG G Flex 3.
LG has already announced some of their upcoming innovations, and the foldable design was on top of the list. While they have already introduced two of the most unique innovations with the self-healing back and flexible design, the 2016 innovation will be bigger than ever.
There is minimal information on the new LG G Flex 3 concept, but we have been hearing other rumors that it is likely to increase in size. With the original Flex sporting Phablet sized 6 inch screen and the LG G Flex 2 likely to sport a smaller screen, the idea of bigger again is quite intriguing.
The latest rumors on the LG G Flex 3 screen size probably has something to do with octa-core technology as an 810 processor makes it possible to integrate 4K technology. With the original Flex coming up well short of true HD, the full HD LG G Flex 2 display was much improved. If the 3rd Flex does sport a 4K display, it will be one of the best-looking Android smartphones of 2016.
2016 is already shaping up to be an amazing year with other flagship releases rumored such as the Galaxy Note 6, Galaxy S7, LG G5, and of course, the foldable design of the LG G Flex 3.
