Those sporting the Nexus 6 through AT&T are one of the last to get Android 5.1.1, and it’s now available as of today. The first sighting of the AT&T Nexus 6 Android 5.1.1 update has just been spotted as it’s currently rolling out to handset across the US.
Android 5.1.1 is a relatively small update at only 81MB and is listed as version LMY47Z. It’s recommended to install the update when connected to Wi-Fi to get the quickest option, and make sure you are at least 50% battery life before installing.
The update began rolling out to all Nexus 6 handsets via AT&T, and will take up to a week or two to hit all smartphones across the country. You can check manually to see if it’s available now by going to your phone’s settings and checking your current and available version.
