New leaks have surfaced on two new Asus tablets that are in the final stages of production, and will be released to the public in a matter of time. The Asus ZenPad 7 looks to be a mid-range tablet and the Asus ZenPad 8 looks to be a slightly larger, premium tablet. Both will be powered by Intel processors and are already being advertised on some exclusive Russian websites.
The Asus ZenPad 7 and ZenPad 8 tablets are the follow-ups to the highly acclaimed FonePad tablets which have become revered in markets worldwide. Both are expected to be made official by Asus at the annual Computex event in Taiwan during the first week in June.
Below are all we know on the specs, price, and release date for both the Asus ZenPad 7 and 8 which will be made official in a matter of weeks.

Asus ZenPad 8 Specs, Price, and Release Date
The Asus ZenPad 8 will feature higher end specs and will cost slightly more. The specs include:
- Intel Atom quad-core processor

As of this time, there’s no word on the ZenPad 8, but new rumors suggest it will still retail for less than $200 (175 Euro). With the better specs, the larger model will still be a huge bargain when comparing it to more expensive tablets such as the latest from both Samsung and Apple. Asus has been delivering great specked out tablets with budget friendly prices, and these two will not be any different.
Both the 7” and 8” models will feature Lollipop out-of-the-box, black and white color options, and are expected to make it to markets worldwide. The release in Taiwan is expected to start just after the Computex event before making its way to other Asian markets, Europe, India, and here in the US.
Stay tuned as we’ll be bringing you all the updates on the Asus ZenPad 7 and ZenPad 8 as soon as we get it during the 1st week in June.
