New leaks have surfaced on two new Asus tablets that are in the final stages of production, and will be released to the public in a matter of time. Asus ZenPad 7 and ZenPad 8 Specs, Price, and Release Date

Below are all we know on the specs, price, and release date for both the Asus ZenPad 7 and 8 which will be made official in a matter of weeks.

Asus ZenPad 7 Specs, Price, and Release Date

The ZenPad 7 will sport a similar design to that of the most recent FonePad tablets. The specs will include:

  • Intel Atom X3 quad-core processor
  • 7” IPS display with a 1024 x 600 resolution
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB and 16GB internal memory with expandable memory SD card slot
  • Standard model (Z1070C) and 3G model (Z170CG)
  • Front and rear cameras
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth

The expected launch Asus ZenPad 7 price will be $158 US (139 Euro) for the standard model (Z1070C) and $181 (159 Eur0) for the 3G model (Z170CG). The specs suggest the Zenpad 7 will be a low to mid-range tablet that will feature Android 5.0 preinstalled.

Asus ZenPad 8 Specs, Price, and Release Date

The Asus ZenPad 8 will feature higher end specs and will cost slightly more. The specs include:

  • Intel Atom quad-core processor
  • 8” QXGA display with a 2048 x 1536 resolutioon
  • 2GB RAM
  • 8, 16, 32, and 64GB internal memory
  • Front and rear camera
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth

As of this time, there’s no word on the ZenPad 8, but new rumors suggest it will still retail for less than $200 (175 Euro). With the better specs, the larger model will still be a huge bargain when comparing it to more expensive tablets such as the latest from both Samsung and Apple. Asus has been delivering great specked out tablets with budget friendly prices, and these two will not be any different.

Both the 7” and 8” models will feature Lollipop out-of-the-box, black and white color options, and are expected to make it to markets worldwide. The release in Taiwan is expected to start just after the Computex event before making its way to other Asian markets, Europe, India, and here in the US.

Stay tuned as we’ll be bringing you all the updates on the Asus ZenPad 7 and ZenPad 8 as soon as we get it during the 1st week in June.
